About the Marina
The Marina District is home to the Palace of Fine Arts, the Exploratorium,
Fort Mason, Marina Green, Crissy Field and the Presidio. Our business
district boasts hundreds of fabulous restaurants - from neighborhood
bistros to some of the top ranked restaurants in the City - plus multiple
theaters and great shopping at major retailers and chic boutiques, all just
blocks from the Bay. |

Our Mission
The Marina Merchants Association, founded in 1928, supports small business
in the Marina District through group advertising opportunities, special events - from holiday carollers to the popular Peloton Project Kids Ride - plus publication and distribution of the Marina District Map & Guide and various community outreach efforts. The MMA also hosts MarinaMerchants.com- the most comprehensive business directory for the entire Marina - and is the sponsor of the Marina District Farmers' Market. By keeping our members and the business community aware of legislation that affects our small businesses, we play an active role in enhancing our neighborhood business district. |
