Lisa Crowder has been designing & fabricating
jewelry since 1998. She creates her jewelry predominantly from
sterling silver & uses techniques such as riveting, stamping,
forming, drilling & piercing to create layers and textures
that are clean & intriguing. Out of each piece grows another,
combining new shapes and elements. Lisa moved to Austin in 1993
to attend the University of Texas & received a BFA in studio
art where she focused on metals & ceramic sculpture. Her inspiration
comes from the metal itself & her travels around the world. |
